Basic Cakes & Frostings

Are you a passionate homemaker who wants to learn how to bake homemade goodies for your loved ones? Or are you someone wishing somebody could guide you and help you start your baking experience the right way. Let us help you. We are offering simplified baking for beginners. This module is for individuals who want to learn how to bake but feels intimated by the oven or individuals who want to give baking a head start but confused on the type of equipment or tools to buy.

In this 8-hour demo and hands on training, learn the basics of baking from choosing the right equipment, tools and ingredients to baking that perfect cake. All tips and tricks we have learned through the years will be shared to make your baking journey as enjoyable as possible.

Time: 9AM - 4PM
Inclusive of: snacks, lunch and take home cake
Please bring your own apron and hairnet.

Chiffon Cake with Boiled Icing
Sponge Cake / Jelly Roll  
Decadent Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache
Mocha Cake with Swiss Meringue Buttercream 




Cupcakes 101

Course Fee: 1850
Course Duration:  4 hours
Class size: Maximum of 10 participants

Schedule: 23 April, Sunday
Time: 1:00-5:00 PM

Inclusive of  Snacks, Recipes &  take home products
Type of Class: Demo, Hands-on

What to bring: Apron, Hairnet

What to expect:

Learn the techniques of baking a successful cupcake each time. In this module the class will be making 3 types of cupcake and frostings that  you and your family and friends will surely love.  




Cookie Monster

Class Fee: 1750
Course Duration: 4 hours
Class size: Maximum of 10 participants

Schedule: 22 April, Saturday 
Time: 2:00-6:00 PM

Inclusive of  Snacks, Recipes &  take home products
Type of Class: Demo, Hands-on

What to bring: Apron, Hairnet

What to expect:

Learn how to make shortbread, sugar and butter cookies including the most loved drop cookie, the Chocolate Chip Cookie for the cookie monster in you. Create different variations of these cookies too. Mommies, if you want this to be a bonding experience with your little or not so little one, you can enrol your kid/s as this class can be easily done by those little hands.  Minimum age required is 7 years old. Kids age 7-10 should have an accompanying  parent learner.

Terms and Conditions

Our Offer

We specialize in customized cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other dessert. We take pride in our well-crafted and equally delicious-as-it-looks sugarpaste creation. 

Lead Time

We require at least two (2) weeks lead time for all customized orders. This doesn't however, guarantee a slot for your preferred date. 

Our Rates

Please feel free to send us a message and let us know the design or theme you want so we can send the necessary quotation. The prices of our cakes depend on the size and the design.

Terms of Payment

·        Booking/Deposit – 500 (deductible from the contract price)
·        Two Weeks prior to Event – 20% of contract price
·        Full Payment - 7 days before fulfillment date 

We are not obligated to fulfil any unpaid orders.


Delivery

For custom-made orders we offer free delivery within Dipolog City. A minimal and reasonable fee is charged for deliveries outside the above mentioned boundary.

Changes to Order Details:

Any changes to the theme and motif shall be made at most two weeks prior to event date.

Cancellation of Order

Please take note that even before you fully pay your order, preparations are already made along the way. Cancelling your order is unfair to those orders we turned down because we already book your event . Cancellation must be done not later than 10 days weeks before the event. The 20% downpayment  shall not be refunded if cancellation is done after the ten-day lock out period.

Flavors


Because of the availability of ingredients in our local grocer, we do not offer too many varieties, rest assured that our flavors are carefully selected and approved even by the most discriminating cake eater.

FILLINGS AND FROSTING


To ensure the structural stability of  our custom-made cakes, we only fill our cakes with either ganache or italian buttercream and frost with ganache before they are covered with fondant. 
  • ·         Italian Buttercream
This is a light buttercream icing with just the right amount of sweetness. This goes well with any type of cake
Variations/Flavors: Chocolate, mocha, white chocolate, strawberry, peppermint, lemon
  • ·         Cream Cheese Frosting
Light cream icing with tangy creamcheese infusion. This is perfect for carrot, red velvet and banana cakes, as well as other spiced cakes.
  • ·         Ganache/Whipped Ganache
Chocolate in Cream, as simple as that, but this type of icing is so chocolatey that chocolate lovers would die for it. Whipped ganache provides the lighter alternative but same chocolatey goodness. Perfect for our best-seller chocolate cake.
  • ·         Marshmallow Icing (meringue-based fluffy frosting but which we don’t use under fondant cakes)
Goes well with any cake
  • ·         Whipped Cream (cream-based fluffy frosting that's light and simply yummy)

  • Goes well with chiffon based cakes
